John Leshy

John Leshy is a professor at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he teaches environmental law and policy. He has written extensively on environmental law and policy, and has served as a consultant to various government agencies and non-profit organizations. Leshy has also worked as a lawyer and has experience in environmental litigation. He is a frequent commentator on environmental issues and has written articles for various publications. Leshy is a member of the American Bar Association and the Environmental Law Institute. He has received several awards for his work in environmental law. Leshy is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has a degree in environmental science from Yale University. He is based in San Francisco.
