John Mark McTurk

John Mark McTurk is a host and reporter for KUT & KUTX Studios. He has been with the station since 2011 and has covered a wide range of topics including politics, education, and social justice. McTurk has also worked as a reporter for the Texas Tribune and has written for several other publications. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. McTurk is known for his in-depth reporting and his ability to tell complex stories in an accessible way. He is also a skilled interviewer and has conducted numerous interviews with newsmakers and experts in his field.
