Former CIA Director and National Security Adviser
John O. Brennan is a retired United States government official who served as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 2013 to 2017. He previously served as the National Security Adviser to President Barack Obama from 2013 to 2015. Brennan is a career intelligence officer with over 30 years of experience in the CIA. He has also served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs and as the Deputy National Security Adviser. Brennan is a graduate of Georgetown University and has received numerous awards for his service, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He is also a bestselling author and has written extensively on national security and foreign policy issues.
