John Sarbanes

John Sarbanes is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Maryland's 3rd congressional district. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving in Congress since 2007. Sarbanes has been a strong advocate for campaign finance reform and has sponsored several bills aimed at reducing the influence of money in politics. He has also been a vocal critic of the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision. Sarbanes has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Association of Realtors' Good Government Award. He is also a graduate of Harvard University and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
