John Sebastian is an American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band The Lovin' Spoonful, which he formed in the 1960s. The Lovin' Spoonful were a popular musical act in the 1960s, known for their folk rock sound and hits like "Do You Believe in Magic" and "Daydream". John Sebastian has also worked as a solo artist and has released several albums. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
