John Stonehouse was a British Labour politician who served as a Member of Parliament from 1966 to 1974. He was known for his charismatic personality and his involvement in several high-profile scandals. Stonehouse was born on October 26, 1933, in London, England. He studied at the University of London and later served in the Royal Navy. After his political career, Stonehouse worked as a journalist and a television presenter. He was married to Patricia Hewitt, a British socialite and philanthropist. Stonehouse died on March 18, 1988, at the age of 54.
