Jordi Savall

Jordi Savall is a Spanish musicologist, composer, conductor, and record producer. Born in 1942 in Barcelona, Spain, he is known for his work in the field of early music and has been instrumental in reviving interest in ancient languages such as Latin and Greek through his music. Savall has released numerous albums with various ensembles and has worked with prominent artists like Jordi Cardó and Miquel Simó. He is a professor at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and has received several awards for his contributions to musicology.
