World Chess Champion
Jose Raul Capablanca was a Cuban chess player who became the World Chess Champion in 1921. He was known for his positional style of play and his ability to win games through careful planning and strategic maneuvering. Capablanca was a dominant force in chess for many years and is still widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He was also a skilled writer and published several books on chess theory. Capablanca was born in Havana, Cuba and died in 1942.
