Jose Vasconcelos

Jose Vasconcelos was a Mexican philosopher, writer, and politician who was born in 1882 and died in 1959. He is best known for his work on the philosophy of race and his advocacy for the rights of indigenous peoples. Vasconcelos was a prominent figure in Mexican politics and served as the Minister of Education from 1920 to 1921.
