Joseph Milteer was a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan and a civil rights activist. He was known for his outspoken views on racism and his efforts to reform the Klan. Milteer was a key figure in the 1960s civil rights movement and was a vocal critic of President Kennedy. He died in 1967.
