Joseph Strickland

Joseph Strickland is a Catholic bishop and theologian. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1985 and has served as the bishop of the Diocese of Tyler since 2012. Strickland is known for his conservative views on Catholic doctrine and his defense of traditional Catholic teachings. He has been a vocal critic of the Catholic Church's handling of the clergy abuse scandal. Strickland has also been a prominent figure in the Catholic Church's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is based in Tyler, Texas.
