Josh Gottheimer

Josh Gottheimer is the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 5th congressional district. He has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2017 and is a Democrat. Gottheimer has been a strong advocate for progressive policies, including increased funding for education and healthcare. He has also been a vocal critic of partisan gridlock and has worked to promote bipartisan cooperation in Congress. Before entering politics, Gottheimer worked as a lawyer and a businessman. He is known for his efforts to address the city's homelessness crisis and to improve the lives of low-income New Yorkers. Gottheimer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Oxford.
