Joy Williams

Joy Williams is an American author and poet. She has written several novels and short story collections, including 'The Quick and the Dead' and 'The Descent of Man'. Williams' work often explores themes of love, family, and identity. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including the National Book Award and the PEN/Malamud Award. Williams has also taught creative writing at several universities, including Yale and Columbia.
