Julie Miville-Dechene

Julie Miville-Dechene is a Canadian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for the riding of Desnethé—Missinippi—Churchill River since 2015. She is a member of the Conservative Party of Canada and has been a strong advocate for rural development and Indigenous affairs. Miville-Dechene has also been a vocal critic of the federal government's handling of Indigenous issues. She has served as the Minister of Rural and Northern Affairs and the Minister of Indigenous Services. Miville-Dechene was born on June 10, 1968, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and has lived in the riding she represents for many years.
