Jürgen Klöckner

Jürgen Klöckner is a German politician who has been serving as the Minister of Food and Agriculture since 2021. He was born on March 29, 1963, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Klöckner studied economics at the University of Frankfurt and later earned a doctorate in economics. He has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1990 and has held various positions in the party, including chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group. Klöckner has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002 and has served as a minister in the federal government.
