Karl Čapek

Karl Čapek was a Czech writer and playwright. He is best known for his science fiction works, particularly the play R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots). Čapek was a pioneer of science fiction and his works have been widely translated and adapted into various forms of media. He was also a pioneer of the Czech avant-garde movement and was involved in various literary and artistic projects.
