Kazimierz Wierzyński

Kazimierz Wierzyński was a Polish poet, literary critic, and translator. He is considered one of the most important poets of the 20th century in Poland. Wierzyński was a key figure in the Polish avant-garde movement and was known for his innovative use of language and form. He was also a prolific translator and edited several collections of Polish literature. Wierzyński was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1976.
