Kenji Imai is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. He is best known for his work on the manga series "Barefoot Gen". Imai was born in 1934 in Hiroshima, Japan. He is a prominent figure in Japanese manga and has received numerous awards for his work. Imai is also known for his humanitarian work, particularly in the aftermath of the Hiroshima bombing.
