Kevin Avery is an American writer, comedian, and actor. He is best known for his work as a writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Avery has also written for other TV shows and has appeared on various comedy specials. He is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and has a degree in theater. Avery is married to actress and writer, Laura Avery.
