Kevin Sheedy is a former Australian rules footballer and coach. He played for Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1974 to 1997. Sheedy is a two-time Brownlow Medal winner and was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2002. He is also a successful coach, leading Essendon to a premiership in 2000. Sheedy has been involved in various coaching and mentoring roles since his retirement from football.
