Former Supreme Leader of North Korea
Kim Il-sung was a North Korean politician who served as the Supreme Leader of North Korea from 1948 until his death in 1994. He was the founder and chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and the chairman of the National Defence Commission. Kim Il-sung is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in modern North Korean history.
