King Harold II of England was the King of England from 1066 until his death in 1066. He was the last Anglo-Saxon king of England and led the army against the Norman invasion at the Battle of Hastings. He is also known for his role in the Battle of Stamford Bridge, where he was defeated by the Norwegian army. Harold was born in 1022 and died in 1066. He was married to Edith of Wessex and had several children. He is remembered as a brave and skilled warrior.
