King Josiah

King Josiah was a king of Judah who ruled from approximately 640 to 609 BCE. He is known for his efforts to restore the Jewish faith and the law of Moses. Josiah is also notable for his military campaigns against the Philistines and the Moabites. He was a member of the House of David and is considered one of the most important figures in the history of Judah. Josiah was succeeded by his son Jehoiakim.
