Pharaoh of ancient Egypt
King Tutankhamun was the 12th pharaoh of ancient Egypt, ruling from around 1332 to 1323 BCE. He is best known for the discovery of his tomb, which was found largely intact by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922. The tomb, known as KV62, is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. King Tutankhamun is also known for his short reign, which was marked by significant cultural and architectural achievements. He is often depicted in art and literature as a symbol of ancient Egyptian power and beauty.
