Kluane Adamek is a Mi'kmaq woman and the current Regional Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Yukon. She has a strong background in Indigenous governance and has worked tirelessly to advocate for the rights and interests of Yukon's Indigenous peoples. Adamek has also been a vocal critic of the Canadian government's handling of Indigenous issues, including the legacy of residential schools.
