Kazuo Haraguchi is a Japanese space scientist and professor at Tokyo University. He has made significant contributions to the field of astrophysics and space exploration. Haraguchi is best known for his work on space weather and its impact on satellite technology. Born in 1952, he received his Ph.D. in physics from Tokyo University in 1978. After completing his research at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Haraguchi returned to Japan to pursue a career in academia.
