Lady Anne Barnard

Lady Anne Barnard was a British colonial administrator and diplomat who served as the wife of Sir John Barrow. She was born in 1750 and died in 1825. She is best known for her role in the British occupation of the Cape of Good Hope and her work as a colonial administrator. She was also a skilled writer and correspondent.
