Lalan Singh

Lalan Singh is an Indian politician who served as the 11th Chief Minister of Bihar from 2005 to 2014. He is a member of the Janata Dal (United) party. Singh was born on January 15, 1947, in Gopalganj, Bihar. He graduated from Patna University and later earned a master's degree in economics from the same university. Singh has been a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly since 1980. He served as the Chief Minister of Bihar for nearly a decade before stepping down in 2014. Singh is known for his efforts in promoting education and healthcare in Bihar.
