Syrian chef and food activist
Lama Jisr is a Syrian chef and food activist who has dedicated her life to preserving and promoting Syrian cuisine. Born in Aleppo, she grew up in a family of cooks and learned the art of traditional Syrian cooking from a young age. Jisr has worked with various organizations to develop cooking programs and workshops that promote Syrian food culture.
