King of the Etruscans
Lars Tolumnius was the king of the Etruscan city of Veii. He is best known for his conflict with the Roman Republic, which led to the Etruscan War. Tolumnius was a skilled military leader and strategist, and his tactics were studied by Roman generals for centuries. He is remembered as a formidable opponent who pushed the Romans to their limits. Tolumnius was born in Veii, Italy around 450 BCE and died in 406 BCE. He is buried in the city of Veii.
