Laura Borràs is a Spanish politician who has been the President of the Parliament of Catalonia since 2018. She is a member of the Junts per Catalunya party and has been a vocal advocate for Catalan independence. Before becoming president, she served as a member of the Parliament of Catalonia and as the Minister of Justice of Catalonia. She has also been a lawyer and a professor at the University of Barcelona.
