Lavinia Fisher

Lavinia Fisher was an American serial killer and con artist. She was one of the first women to be executed in the United States for murder. Fisher was born in 1793 in North Carolina and grew up in a poor family. She married a man named John Fisher and had two children with him. However, the marriage was unhappy, and Fisher eventually left her husband and began a life of crime. She was known for her beauty and cunning, and was able to deceive many people into trusting her. Fisher was eventually caught and executed in 1821 for the murder of her husband's business partner.
