Linda Hollender

Linda Hollender is an American journalist and author who has written extensively on environmental and social issues. She is the host of the podcast Cultivating Place, which explores the intersection of nature, culture, and human experience. Hollender has written for numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Audubon Magazine. She is also a frequent commentator on NPR and PBS NewsHour. Hollender has received numerous awards for her work, including the National Association of Science Writers Award and the American Institute of Biological Sciences Award. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and has a master's degree in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
