Liu Xie

Liu Xie (c. 465-522 CE) was a Chinese historian, philosopher, and politician. He is best known for his work on the history of the Jin dynasty. Liu Xie was born in the state of Qi and studied under the famous scholar and politician, Xie Lingyun. He later became a prominent figure in the Jin court, serving as a historian, philosopher, and politician. Liu Xie is also known for his poetry and his contributions to the development of Chinese literature. He is considered one of the most important figures in Chinese history and philosophy.
