Lord Mandelson

Lord Mandelson is a British politician who served as the Leader of the House of Lords from 1998 to 2001 and as the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 1999 to 2001. Born on November 1, 1953, Mandelson studied at Cambridge University and later became a barrister. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1992 to 2004 and was a key figure in the Labour Party's leadership. Mandelson resigned as Deputy Prime Minister in 2004 after a scandal involving his relationship with a 20-year-old woman.
