Lorenzo Hernandez

Lorenzo Hernandez is an American politician and diplomat who has served as the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy since 2021. He is a member of the Biden Administration and has been a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 24th congressional district. Before his appointment as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia and Eurasia. He is known for his advocacy on issues related to national security, foreign policy, and defense strategy.
