Belgian paleontologist
Louis Dollo was a Belgian paleontologist who made significant contributions to the field of evolutionary biology. He is best known for his work on the concept of Dollo's Law, which states that evolution cannot proceed in the exact same way that it proceeded. Dollo was born in 1857 and died in 1931. He was a professor at the University of Ghent and was known for his expertise in paleontology and evolutionary biology. Dollo was also a prolific writer and published numerous papers on his research. He is considered one of the most important scientists of his time.
