Lucius Cornelius Cinna

Lucius Cornelius Cinna was a Roman consul and statesman who served during the late Republic. He was a member of the Optimates faction and was known for his conservative views on politics and governance. Cinna was born into a noble family and was educated in the traditional Roman arts of war. He served as consul in 75 BCE and again in 69 BCE. Cinna is remembered as one of the most influential figures in Roman politics during the late Republic.
