Luis Buñuel was a Spanish filmmaker and artist. He is best known for his surrealist films and his collaborations with Salvador Dalí. Buñuel was born in 1900 in Calanda, Spain and died in 1983. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century.
