Mabel Ho

Mabel Ho is a renowned Taiwanese-American author, critic, and educator. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she grew up in a culturally rich family that instilled in her a love for storytelling and language. Ho holds a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has taught at several institutions across the United States. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, 'The Language of Flowers', was shortlisted for the National Book Award. She is also a prolific essayist and contributor to various publications, including The New Yorker and Harper's Magazine.
