Maïmouna Doucouré is a Senegalese film director and screenwriter. She was born in 1985 in Dakar, Senegal. Doucouré studied film at the École supérieure des arts plastiques de Paris. She has directed several short films and has worked on several feature films. Her film 'Mignonnes' explores themes of feminism and identity. Doucouré is active on Twitter and has a YouTube channel where she posts videos on her work.
