Military aide to U.S. Presidents and renowned military officer
Major Archibald Butt was a highly decorated military officer who served as military aide to both Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. He was a renowned expert on military strategy and was known for his bravery and leadership skills. Butt was also a charismatic figure who was widely admired by his peers. He was killed in action during World War I. Butt was born in Virginia and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
