Mamercus Aemilius Mamercinus was a Roman consul and statesman. He is known for his role in the Second Samnite War and his involvement in the construction of the Appian Way. He was also a prominent figure in Roman politics and was known for his oratory skills. Mamercus was born into a noble family and was educated in Greek and Roman literature. He served as consul in 352 BC and was later elected as censor. He was also a patron of the arts and was known for his support of the Roman theater. Mamercus died in 338 BC at the age of 75.
