Manche MaseMola was a South African Christian martyr. She was born in 1913 in a rural area near Polokwane in Limpopo. MaseMola was a devout Christian and worked with German and English missionaries. Her family practiced traditional Christianity, but her faith was seen as radical by the Anglican Church. In 1928, at the age of 15, MaseMola's parents killed her for her beliefs, and she was buried on a remote farm. She was later declared a martyr by the Anglican Church and is remembered as one of the ten martyrs of the 20th century.
