Manfred Von Richthofen was a German fighter pilot during World War I. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest fighter pilots of all time, with 80 confirmed air combat victories. Richthofen was known for his exceptional flying skills and his distinctive red-painted Fokker Dr.I triplane. He was shot down and killed in action on April 21, 1918, at the age of 25.
