Manuel Noriega

Manuel Noriega is a former Panamanian dictator. He served as the President of Panama from 1989 to 1990, and was known for his authoritarian rule and corruption. Noriega was overthrown in a military coup in 1989, and was later extradited to the United States to face charges of drug trafficking and money laundering. He was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Noriega is currently serving his sentence in a federal prison in the United States.
