Marcel Lechien

Marcel Lechien was a French teacher who was accused of child abuse and institutional cover-up. He was born in 1955 in France and worked as a teacher in Cormeilles, Eure. In 1996, he was accused of abusing and raping several students. Despite the allegations, he was never prosecuted. In 2001, a parent of one of his students turned him in to the authorities. Lechien has since become a figure of controversy in France.
