Marco Tullio Giolitti was an Italian politician who served as Prime Minister of Italy five times between 1892 and 1921. He was a key figure in Italian politics during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and was known for his progressive policies and his efforts to modernize the Italian state. Giolitti was born in Genoa, Italy, and studied law at the University of Genoa. He began his career in politics in the 1870s, and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most influential politicians of his time.
