Maria Teresa von Paradis

Maria Teresa von Paradis was a talented pianist who was born in 1759 and died in 1813. She was born blind and went on to become one of the most celebrated pianists of her time. She was known for her exceptional talent and her ability to play complex pieces with ease. She was also known for her relationship with the doctor Mesmer, who used his method of magnetism animal to help her recover her sight temporarily.
