Marjane Satrapi is an Iranian-French author, filmmaker, and cartoonist. She was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to France as a teenager. Satrapi is best known for her graphic novels, including "Persepolis", which won the Pulitzer Prize. She has also directed several films, including "The Enemy". Satrapi is known for her powerful and poignant storytelling. She is based in France.
